Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno School of Gastronomy was founded in Argentina in 1963 and opened its first location in Colombia in 2005. Nowadays, we have 4 branches in Bogota, one in Medellin and another one in Cali with more than 1,800 students nationwide.

In 2008 Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno celebrated the most significant international agreement in its history and started being part of the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance. This partnership offers students the option to study in France in order to open their horizons, and allows the school to have major international projection and differentiate from its competitors.

Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno is constantly growing. It always looks for improving the quality of education of its students, by training its teachers and innovating in its facilities, by working closely with the Ministry of Education of Colombia that guarantees and gives the necessary licenses to use programs offered. Throughout years, we have succeeded in turning cooking into a serious and important lifestyle option for those interested in exercising this profession.

By always working with love for what is done and with the clear goal of educating responsibly, Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno School of Gastronomy has been recognized by "La Barra" - the most important entity in Colombia in the food industry - as the best school in the country for two consecutive years, 2013 and 2014.
